Faces in Places Photobooths Terms and Conditions
This contract is made between Faces in Places Photobooths (the company) and , (the client).
You or anyone using our services agree to the following terms and conditions of the hire and use of our services. A contract will exist between you and Faces in Places Photobooths when the deposit, payment or part payment is received. We therefore recommend you retain a copy of these terms and conditions for your records.
The terms 'photo booth' and 'booth' are used in this document to refer to either an enclosed photo booth hire or a magic mirror photo booth hire.
Booking form refers to any booking form or terms and conditions contained on our website, emailed or posted to you.
Deposits, Payments and Bookings
When a booking is made with Faces in Places Photobooths regardless of the method of contact it is deemed that the customer has read, understood and is bound by our terms and conditions of hire.
An initial deposit payment of £50 is required to secure your booking. This can be paid automatically through our online booking system, or your event date can be reserved for 7 days over the phone until we recieve payment by BACS.
The deposit you pay to secure your event is non-refundable 30 days leading up the event, and reflects the work we put into events prior to attending, and the bookings we will have missed be securing your date for you.
All cancellations must be made by contacting us. Once your event has been cancelled, your event date will immediately be available for other people to book. *Please note all refunds of monies paid will incur a fee to cover the transaction costs set in pleace by our 3rd party payment providers.
Cancellation 30 days or more before the event - refund of the full amount of the initial payment and/or other monies paid excluding transaction fees*.
Cancellation between 30 - 14 days of the event - refund of any monies paid, excluding the £50 deposit and transaction fees*.
Cancellation within 14 days of the event - refund of only 50% of the full booking cost excluding transaction fees*. At this point, it is usually too late for us to get another booking, and so we have lost out.
All full balances need to be received and cleared 28 days prior to the event.
All equipment remains the property of Faces in Places Photobooths at all times.
Venue Access, Equipment and Location
It is your responsibility to ensure Faces in Places Photobooths are given the correct venue address, postcode and contact details on the booking form. The company cannot be held responsible for delays due to incorrect information.
The photo booth requires an area of 3 meters by 3 meters; the Magic Mirror requires an area of 3 meters by 2 meters. You will also need to instruct the venue to provide space for a table for props, this measures 2 meters x 1 meter.
Faces in Places Photobooths are covered by Public Liability Insurance up to £10 million and all our equipment is PAT tested. It is your responsibility to check this is acceptable by the venue. We are not responsible if the venue refuses to allow the company to operate.
Faces in Places Photobooths cannot be held responsible if the venues electric supply is faulty and affects the running of the booth. If it is shown that the venue is at fault no refund is due, if the fault is with Faces in Places Photobooths then a refund will be payable.
The photo booth and magic mirror are designed for indoor use only or in a waterproof marquee with a solid, level floor.
Hired equipment will be set up in one location agreed on arrival and once erected, cannot be moved.
If the above conditions are not met the hire fee is still payable.
Set Up and Timings
We will arrive approximately 60 minutes prior to the event to set up and ensure everything is working correctly. Any idle time needed prior to the event will be charged at £25 an hour. These timings need to be communicated by you to the venue.
Both the photo booth and magic mirror require access to a mains supply within 10 metres of the booth/mirror location. If we will be using a generator please advise the company in advance to ensure it is suitable.
Safety of Staff, Damage to The Equipment and Termination of Hire
In the event that behaviour of guests poses a risk the safe running of the equipment, damage to any equipment including props, including rudeness or threats to our staff we reserve the right to immediately cease use of the equipment and remove it from the event. In this instance, the hire fee will not be refunded
The client is responsible for any damage to the booth or mirror caused by their guests.
If the attendant feels due to excess alcohol someone is unfit to use the booth we reserve the right to refuse them access.
Events Beyond Our Control
Faces in Places Photobooths cannot be held responsible for circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event that are out of our control. If this occurs we will only be liable for refunding the monies paid to us.
The company accept no liability for loss or damage to property owned by those using the photo booth, or personal injury or death of any participants however caused; unless caused by proven negligence of Faces in Places Photobooths.
